Do what’s excitingly ambitious. If stuck between two options, do what is more fun/puts you in the best position for the future. Ask yourself “what’s excitingly ambitious every morning”. Excitingly ambitious will change everyday, and that’s good. Optimize for this. Make an effort to continuously have your horizons expanded so that you consistently have new understanding of what excitingly ambitious could be. Be around people who expand your horizons, consume content from people who could expand your horizons, read books, listen to podcasts, spend time with people you don’t agree with.
Don’t really worry too much about whether or not you’re going in the right direction because there’s no way to know what the right direction is. Hopefully, the dots will connect in the end.
