These are some projects that I’m either working on or planning to work on in the near future, roughly ordered by time. I use the term projects relatively liberally, so this might not be what you would otherwise expect. See Open Questions for more future projects I want to work on or want others to work on.

Now (Read as 2025 Goals List)
  • Generally being more technical last year was the year of learning+curiosity+wonder for me. This year is the year of doing.
  • Lots of cool projects in RL, hopefully finding a way to do budding “real” research in some field to confirm that it’s something I’m interested in for the future
  • USACO Plat
  • Building an organization that can consistently help drive intelligence, curiosity, and agency in the New York area
    • Building (hopefully) the best high school hackathon in the US outside of the official Hack Club ones dream: 48 hours, tons of workshops, sick venue, community built (see Outernet) sometime this year or early next year
    • Spinning off of this w/ Buildspace-like summer events, You-Ship-We-Ships, and an extensive grant program for super cool projects
    • Raising enough money to make the organization last (we are not doing too hot on money right now)
  • Writing
    • Cleaning up these notes substantially
    • Flesh out a ton of these posts and get them onto the blog
  • Misc Learning
    • about econ and history (see next section)
    • about Game Theory
    • more in Quantum Computing
  • Get much better at guitar solos
  • Generally getting my ideas on social infrastructure to hit the real world (report coming July 2026)
  • Reading
Important Past Projects

  • Community-Building Stuff
    • Helping organize a January 2024 teen hackathon at TeenHacks LI
      • Organizing a January 2025 with better vibes, cooler prizes, and more focus on creating a “Road-to-Damascus” moment that sparks sustained ambition to do cool projects (hopefully not even just in STEM)
        • Using the same organization to start a number of other things to help with that “sustained ambition” part
          • Monthly Hackathons
          • Grants for cool projects
    • Re-vamping my coding club entirely
  • Writing
    • A blog post on education reform I’m quite proud of took me quite a bit of research and thinking and re-writing
    • Setting up this knowledge garden (not technically difficult but seeding this site with notes took quite a while)
  • 40-110 WPM lol
