Recently, I’ve been plagued by scheduling issues. There’s so many exciting things that I could be doing and learning, and it’s hard to prioritize. What typically ends up happening is that I spread myself too thin and prevent myself from going too deep into any one thing.

An important philosophy I’ve discovered recently is to “do what’s excitingly ambitious”. This could be my solution to longer-scale Focus. I can’t have everything, but I think living with this philosophy in mind will keep me moving in a direction that’s true to myself.

The only way to do what’s excitingly ambitious is to give myself some Slack. Slack encourages the state of “whimsy” that leads you to what’s excitingly ambitious and keeps you true to yourself.
